MAAL HIJRAH

Muharram telah pun berakhir, tetapi ramai lagi yang masih memeriahkan bulan ini dengan mengacau sura (bubur asyura) beramai-ramai. Kerajaan negeri tidak juga ketinggalan menjalankan program ini dan hari ini Kawasan Kota Bharu meraikan Majlis majlis Maal Hijrah dan mengacau Asyura.

DONUT OH DOUGHNUT

Sudah 3 hari termasuk hari ini perniagaan donut zahid berjalan. ALhamdulillah lancar nampaknya. sudah RM12 dijual bukan RM120 ye.... kira bagi dua untung dengan modal.

prinsip saya walau sedikit pun perniagaan itu kalau menguntungkan dan masa mengizinkan memang akan dibuat. Tidak kira banyak mana dapat.... kalau tidak dipecahkan ruyung mana nak dapat rebungnya. dan tidak akan ada sesiapa yang akan kata even suami, anak2 sendiri - nah amik duit ni dan tak payah buat kuih... bahagianya kot kalau adegan itu berlaku...
saya jual 4 iji RM1.

sesiapa nak berniaga ini resipinys:

resipi donut

1kg tepung gandum high protein(tepung roti)
1 paket yeast segera - 11 gm
1 biji telur
50gm gula
50gm shortening
50 gm majerin
500 - 550ml air

digaul semuanya. saya menggunakan mixer kenwood chef dan uli dalam 10 minit.kalau dengan tangan dalam 1/2 jam kot. adunan lembik sikit.

bila siap timbang 30gm bulatkan dan perap. bila naik buat lubang ditengah dan goreng.

bab buat lubang di tengah ini dapat petua dari seorang kawan. biasanya diterap sahaja. tapi tahu2 je lah terap ada yang nipis ada yang tebal.

saya buat kuih ke kek ke biskut memang senang dengan menimbang, sukat pakat cawan tak konfiden, hati tak tenteram je takut terkurang atau terlebih. kalau ada kawan2 bgi resipi dalam sukatan cawan, saya akan cuba convert kepada metrik, dan jika menjadi saya akan terus gunakan sukatan metrik.

END OF JANUARY

i'm very busy during the few days at the end of a month and a few days at the begining of the month, the rest of the month I can get bored, laze around, wake up late if I want to (I haven't done that for a few years - post menopause syndrome hehe), sleep late.... what else????

at the end of the month i've to submit staff payroll statement to HQ, submission sales to Gamat emas, a few copies to photostat to be couried to HQ.
At the beginning of the month, I've to distribute pay check, pay office and house rental, pay bills and remedied any discrepencies. it seem so bteezy and relaxing, but is actually not. normally the rental is settled almost at the middle of the month, TNB and TMB bills paid way past its due date. why????? there are so many excuses....
the car is not available(sharewere system by me, am and my encik), cheque not cleared, no driver (when my biorhythm is low), not in the mood to dress up..... bla bla...

BOREDOM AND LAZINESS

Today is public holiday, i've no order for brownies, no program and no meeting. yesterday's nasi lemak is still plenty, and i'm in no mood to do anything. i just want to laze around and get bored. i found an article in the reader's digest about getting bored on purpose... by being bored late in the afternoon, while preparing my work schedule for tomorrow the blissness of my boredom is interrupted by the appearance of an aquaintance. terkojut hambo. back to being bored... During that time, at my immature mind there is no goodness of laziness, you will not pass your exam because you're lazy, become poor, cannot catch a good husband.... but my teacher gave us the other factor of laziness much to our surprises. playing musical instrument, creating arts and inventing new gadgets to simplify chores are the results of being lazy. there was an instance when i asked my son to decorate my cookies, because I had many orders and I cannot cope alone, he did it at night when I was asleep, and in the morning he finished the whole lot. I was surprised how he managed to do it, as i did not expect him to finished knowing that he was not the 'rajin' type.... he told he used a shortcut.... which I never thought of doing, and i've been using his method ever since. well that is some laziness.

CHINESE NEW YEAR

Malaysian will be celebrating CHINESE NEW YEAR (CNY) this monday 26th january, According to the chinese this is the of OX. ini bukan nak cerita fasal CNY tetapi nak cerita maacam mana sibuk dan jam nya bandar Kota Bharu semasa musim cuti CNY, pada tahun2 yang lepas, dan tahun ini juga tidak terkecuali, apatah lagi cuti bersambung dengan cuti hujung minggu dan juga cuti sekolah selama seminggu.

so untuk mengelakkan terpaksa masuk bandar minggu depan, aku telah bersedia serba sedikit stok untuk menampung 3/4 hari cuti ini. 1/2 dozen jemput ikan bilis adabi, 3 tin sardin cap ayam, 3 kilogram tepung gandum, dan bahan2 untuk buat brownies - 1 kotak cooking chocolate, 4kg brown sugar dan 4 kg high ratio flour. telur memang banyak lagi dalam fridge...
