Alhamdulillah, today I managed to do a few things tat I've put off the last few months. I cleared my cabinet, filed my documents, car registration cards, insurance covers, house purchase agreement and my bankbooks.
Don't be fooled with the balance in my bank books, because there many possibilities nowadays to make withdrawal. my favourite transaction nowadays is internet transfer, only very seldom I use my bankcard to withdraw.
I managed to cook a simple dish - fried rice noodle which is my favourite (my very own fried rice noodle) and my granddaughter's favourite too.
fried rice noodle
500gm rice noodle
1 chicken breast -cubed
300gm prawn - deveined
1/4 small cabbage shredded
50gm kucai
blended:
10 dried chilles soak in hot water
2 fresh chillies
2 onions cubed
5 pips garlic
1/4 cup tomato sauce
3 pips garlic - mashed
salt & sugar to taste
direction:
fried the prawn skin in 2 tbsp of oil, put 2 cups water and let simmer 10 mins
take out. keep the stock and discard the skin.
fried the mashed garlic until aromatic, put in the blended ingredients, chichen cubed, prawns and prawn stock, pun the rice noodle kucai and cabbage. cook until the rice softened. taste the salt and sugar.
